James Zohoury is a LLPC with a private practice in Commerce Township, Michigan. James specializes in working with teens, adults, and couples. James received his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University, Irvine. James also has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University and a MBA from Oakland University.
Before working in private practice, James worked with adults and teens struggling with various mental health issues, including trauma, PTSD. CPTSD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and suicide ideation. James has worked with teens, adults, and their families in inpatient and outpatient programs at a psychiatric hospital.
James creates a space where individuals feel safe to discuss and create desired change. James partners with his clients to help them discover the strength, hope, and resiliency to overcome challenges. James believes life's challenges are an opportunity to explore current barriers, identify new goals, and thrive in all aspects of his life.
